As this year comes to a close, 2024 has been quite the year for music. We've seen bands take national television by storm, Grammy nominations of bands we never thought the academy would ever acknowledge, and tours and festivals selling out in mere minutes. Well, just like how at the end of the school year, there is a yearbook with all your favorite superlatives about your friends, here at Music Scene Media we wanted to do the same but about some of your potential favorite artists! Love him or hate him, Mr. Radke always seems to find himself at the center of attention on social media. Regardless of how you feel, this Drama Queen is raking in almost 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, plus who can count how many more across the other platforms, so he must be doing something right!

Honorable Mention: Knocked Loose
Knocked Loose has been raising the bar for hardcore and heavy music for a number of years now, but 2024 has truly been their year. From playing a stage at Coachella 2023, the band has now been selling out arenas, supporting Slipknot, bringing hardcore music to Jimmy Kimmel, being nominated for a Grammy, and being recognized by the NY Times in their list for best albums of 2024 (#11 is quite the spot). The band has accomplished all this by staying true to their heavy roots, yet refining it like wine. Who knows what 2025 will bring for the band.
