The seven-member, multinational group who debuted in 2023, AMPERS&ONE, have embarked on their first North American tour. Performing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the historic Miramar Theater, proving their dancing and singing abilities while effortlessly interacting with fans. As a new group, their stardom is just beginning to shine in its fullest light.

Titled after the ampersand symbol (&), which stands for “and” is shortened to AMPERS. Then followed by “&one” a slight nod to how they include their fan base in the group. Andear, is the name of their fandom, which combines "and" and "dear" further expressing their affection and connection to the Andears. Under FNC Entertainment, who has also formed bands such as FT ISLAND, CNBLUE and more, has taken AMPERS&ONE under their wing for the release of their mini albums AMPERSAND ONE, ONE HEARTED, and ONE QUESTION.

For their live concert in Milwaukee, the crowd was roaring with excitement as their idols took the stage. They were toting suit jackets, white button-downs, black ties, and classic Chuck Taylor Converse, each member wearing their version of a matching outfit; with a personalized twist. The heartbeat of their fanbase perfectly matches the idols energy, wearing the band's merchandise and waving custom light sticks with the group's title glowing from within. From the floor to overflowing the side balconies, this room was packed full with the fans of AMPERS&ONE.

After three songs and a quick outfit change into more casual, less matching, but still coordinating streetwear. AMPERS&ONE kept the energy in the room high with one of their original songs, “Whip It,” which leans into a grungier, rock genre with deep bass lines and electric guitars. It is obvious the idols are enjoying their first NA tour, as they perform with full power and easily connect with fans at each stop. Including providing photo booths with ring lights in the lobby and VIP upgrades to meet the group before and after their show. After a few more songs, they take a long break to banter with the audience, introduce themselves, and make jokes. For some songs, getting personal with fans at the front row and making eye contact and dishing out fist bumps.

AMPERS&ONE is exactly what pop music has been missing, an icon boy group. Filling the shoes of One Direction and Justin Bieber, the idols are highly talented singers, rappers, dancers, and entertainers. During the middle of the show, the group split in two, leaving half to perform solo freestyle dances to popular, trending songs. Including a cover of “Sorry” by Justin Bieber and another group performance of “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars. Proving their worth and talent, they sang a snippet of “That’s What I Like” completely A cappella, interchanging the lyrics “A condo in Manhattan” and “Rent a beach house in Miami,” fittingly, with “Milwaukee.” Being early into their journey, they love to include covers of other popular k-pop groups like Stray Kids, TXT, and BTS on their tour setlist to show love for them.

With extreme excitement toward the end of their concert, AMPERS&ONE has announced their comeback this April, set to include new songs, music videos, and more touring for the international group. Suiting up for another huge and busy year, these seven idols are on the right track with all the fans love following close behind them.
