In support of girl in red for the “Make It Go Quiet” tour, 24-year old Australian singer, Blake Rose, performed to the sold-out crowd at Showbox SoDo in Seattle.
Rose’s sound can be described as pop music that relies heavily on the electric guitar. With only having a drummer on stage, Rose played guitar and keyboard on his own- Showcasing his expansive musical range.
Rose played hit songs like “Lost” and “Hotel Room,” while fans sang along. What was interesting to watch about Blake Rose is that he had the fans entranced and clearly brought in a crowd of his own, despite being the opener.
Blake Rose has clearly created a name for himself and will only continue to grow bigger. Overall, Blake Rose turned up the energy in the venue and left the crowd with a set to remember.
