Fastball performed a show at The Mercury Lounge in New York City that was off-the-charts fun. The line to get into the venue stretched down the block with fans that were so excited to go in and start jamming to this amazing and iconic band.
Fastball is an American Pop Rock Band from Austin, TX. Band members include Tony Scalzo (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Miles Zuniga (vocals, guitar) and Joey Shuffield (drums, percussion). The group skyrocketed to fame in the ‘90’s with their second studio album, All the Pain Money Can Buy (1998). This album included hit singles "The Way", "Out of my Head" and "Fire Escape".
The room was packed and transformed into a major party with everyone enjoying ALL their favorites songs. The night was everything everyone hoped for and more. Everyone vibed along to the mesmerizing vocals, catchy tunes, and uplifting beats.
They played songs spanning throughout all their albums and included everyone’s favorites plus treated everyone in the room to new songs from their upcoming album Sonic Ranch. The first EP from this album is recently released and is called “Rather Be Me Than You”. (Also check out the recently released music video!)
They ended the night with “The Way” before coming back for their encore, which included the hits “You're an Ocean” and “Sooner or Later”.
