On Tuesday, April 15th, R&B lovers in Fort Lauderdale, Florida had the honor of welcoming FLO to their sold-out show at Revolution Live. After touring with Kehlani last year, the London-based trio has found MASSIVE success with their smooth, melodic hits. Fans quickly lined up around the block eager to see these talented girls live in person, myself included.
First up to the stage was Chxrry; a sexy, sultry Atlanta-based R&B phenomenon. Sporting a white captains hat paired with a black leotard and lacy leggings, Chxrry stunned the audience with her infectious smile. The audience screamed and chanted along to every song as Chxrry blazed through her biggest hits such as “Favorite Girl”, “Poppin Out (Mistakes)”, and “The Falls”. Not only were her vocals out of this world, but her dance moves also seemed to leave a mark with the crowd. At one point she decided to get down on her hands and knees and crawl to the edge of the stage to interact with some fans, and the girls in the front row were so elated by this that I honestly thought they were going to pass out (luckily they didn’t, though!). Chxrry is truly a performer of a lifetime.

Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for, FLO hit the stage. The stage design was beautiful; consisting of three arched doorways draped with red curtains sat upon a short LED lit staircase. Once the lights flickered off and the intro to “AAA” started playing, the audience shouted in excitement as the members of FLO emerged from the curtained arches. The trio, consisting of members Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer, all sported matching (but uniquely different) brown leather outfits. They went through all the fan favorite hits from their recent album, Access All Areas, such as “In My Bag”, “Check”, and “Walk Like This”. With this album gaining massive success with tens of millions of streams on Spotify, the fans had no trouble reciting every lyric to each song. The vocals these girls portrayed were jaw dropping. In my opinion, they somehow sound even better live than in the studio recordings. That fact in itself should have you running to get tickets to a FLO tour date near you. Out of every concert i’ve been to so far in 2025, FLO easily takes the cake as my favorite.
