Yesterday, I had the opportunity to chat with alt-rock artist Alexa San Roman about her project, SAN ROMAN. Her latest single came out today, which is a cover of “Get Free” by The Vines, and features Cunio of Brass Against on vocals and Jacob Umansky of Intervals on bass. This song was one that Alexa listened to a lot back when she began playing guitar at 14 and getting to cover it was a fun throwback for her! Alexa and Cunio work wonderfully well on this, and it’s a phenomenal cover of an already amazing song! I had a lot of fun chatting with Alexa about her background, what she’s been doing since her debut album Messy was released, and what’s next for her. If this fun song is any indication of what’s to come, it’s going to be a great year for SAN ROMAN!
