It seems like Glasswaves are suddenly everywhere. The four-piece, made up of Noah Rich, Owen Miller, Brendan Curtis, and Tyler Phouthasack, certainly know how to keep busy! They just finished up a tour, and now they have a hometown EP release show coming up, followed by touring with The Funeral Portrait throughout late April and early May. After a small break, they'll be back out on tour in June, this time with Weeping Wound. Finally, they'll be opening for elijah on a small run of his headlining shows in July.

The EP, It Was Always Meant to End, will be released on April 19th. Of the lead single, which was released today, vocalist Noah Rich shares:

We chose this track as the self-titled song because it carries such raw emotion and perfectly captures the core theme of the EP - the tension, vulnerability, and volatility of a toxic relationship. This song marks a turning point for us creatively. We stepped outside the traditional boundaries of songwriting and let the emotion drive the process. It’s somewhat of a hybrid song. Starts out as an EDM track then seamlessly blends into a massive rock piece. We feel this is our most compelling and authentic work to date.
