It is always fun and amazing when a group of talented musicians come together and start an incredible band. The experience in the music industry can cause some incredible songs and moments in music history. The only thing better is when those musicians decide to join forces and create a "supergroup". Some off the top of my head are The Damned Things, Better Lovers, Isles & Glaciers, L.S. Dunes, and Killer Be Killed, but the list can go on and on. If you're a fan of supergroups, I have the next best one for you.

Combining the powers of viral artist Sam Tinnesz and multi-platinum producers Ian Brendon Scott and Mark Jackson, the world was given a brand new amazing supergroup: Society of Villains. Obviously this band is not to be slept on. Looking at their Spotify numbers, the band has been pumping out music for about a year now and have already amassed over 5 million streams across their releases and over 400 thousand subscribers on YouTube. Talk about talent, am I right? The band is gearing up to release their new EP, Good & Evil, on April 25th of 2025. If their previous success, sound, and musical talent is any indication for how this EP will sound, I'm sure it'll be a chart-topper for sure. To give fans a taste, Society of Villains has released a single from the EP, "Daredevil", alongside a visualizer music video.

"Daredevil" is anything but a boring track. It gives me a goth-surf-rock vibe that leaves me dancing like madman in the kitchen. It effortlessly balances with high energy riffs with dark lyrics like "Don’t mind if I die / Hope to God, I’m going fast on my funeral ride" and "You say I’m doomed, but I can’t stop (can’t stop)". With the surplus of music out there, it is sometimes hard for bands to create music that can stand out in a crowd. Society of Villains does not have that issue apparently because, like I said, "Daredevil" has that special something.

I am sure I have said it before and I am sure I will say it again, but this is a band you should not sleep on. They are sure to continue to climb the music charts and take the scene by storm and it is only a matter of time before your only chance of seeing them perform is from the nosebleeds of the arena ... if you're lucky.
