It's a warm Saturday night in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as eager fans begin filling into Revolution Live for the kick-off of Kxllswxtch and Sxmpra's highly anticipated tour. I have been a massive supporter of these two artists for what feels like forever now, so I was just as excited to enter the venue. With the heavy, mosh-inducing sounds brought by Kxll & Sxmpra, this show will certainly be one for the books.
First up on the stage was IkabodVEINS, a local Broward County artist known for his trap-metal sound and past work with XXXTentacion. I had no clue Ikabod would be performing at this show, so I was pleasantly surprised to see him take the stage. Performing his track "SEA SICK" for the first time, the crowd instantly shocked into action. The last time I saw Ikabod perform was years ago, and it was awesome to see him in action again.

Next up was Seattle-born artist Key Nyata. Known for his polarizing bars and incredible work with some of Florida's biggest stars, like Denzel Curry, Key Nyata's set was definitely one that fans were looking forward to. As soon as he hit the stage performing hits such as "Thanks and Praises", the crowd started jumping up and down as they screamed the lyrics back at him. He also performed a few unreleased tracks from his upcoming project, and I can confirm this new project will be incredible.

After much anticipation, Sxmpra took the stage. The crowd instantly erupted into screams as the New Zealand warrior brought the energy with hits such as "Step Back" and "COWBELL WARRIORS". Known for his work in the trap-phonk scene and his insanely fast rapping capabilities, Sxmpra proved yet again that he is a titan when it comes to live performances. It was super entertaining to see the crowd try and keep up with his quick flows. This was my first time seeing Sxmpra live, and I cannot recommend his shows enough. You just need to witness it for yourself.

Finally, the lights started to dim and flicker as the opening melody for "COSMO" began to play. Kxllswxtch stomped out on stage as the crowd's cheers filled the venue. Right off the bat, the crowd got rowdy and moshed to Kxll's greatest trap-metal hits such as "LIGHTS OUT", "CRYING IN THE CLUB" and "YASOPP". Kxll was accompanied by a live band, which added so much aura to these tracks. I've had the pleasure of getting to see Kxllswxtch perform live multiple times over the years, and I always admire just how much energy he pours into his performances. After tearing up the stage with his heavy hitters, he opted to slow down the pace by performing some of his indie tracks, such as "BOMBS AWAY." The fun didn't stop there, as Kxll had a couple of big surprises for the audience. Strolling onto the stage for surprise guest performances were Fat Nick and PlayThatBoiZay, two Florida hip-hop veterans. The shocked crowd went into an absolute frenzy. Pouya could also be seen hanging out next to the stage showing support for his friends.

Wrapping up his set, Kxllswxtch opted to jump into the crowd to sing his massively successful song "WASTE" (currently sitting at 355,700,000+ streams on Spotify). The crowd parted to let him through, where he then sat on the floor and instructed everyone to sit with him. The band began to play the intro to the track as everyone seated themselves crisscrossed onto the venue floor. The scene was something straight out of a movie as everyone swayed and sang along to this deeply emotional track. Kxllswxtch is truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime types of artists who can bring a sense of connection between everybody.
