Today I sat down with Josh Landry, better known as Lø Spirit. A while back, I had stumbled upon Josh’s videos on TikTok and fell in love with his voice. He got a good bit of fame from doing covers on there, and has amassed over 800k followers. He has since released a handful of original songs, including a feature with pop star Chandler Leighton.
Josh’s music is emotional, raw, and has a pretty strong message as well. He is an advocate for mental health awareness and is not shy about adding this element to his songs. I think this is a crucial element to the success that he’s finding – he’s making a real connection to others through being unapologetically himself, flawed but real.
