In the words of the Boston-based band Driveways themselves, “If you enjoyed pop punk/post hardcore music from like 2002 to about 2008 then you might like Driveways. Like, even if you didn't, you still might. We don't really know unless you give us a listen. Let us know. Talk soon, thanks.” That’s a perfect description, honestly. If that’s your vibe, their music will certainly scratch that itch. And, if the two latest singles are any indication, their upcoming EP release will be their strongest work yet. The first, “Ghost of a Smile”, was released on Halloween, which certainly came as no surprise to their fanbase who have become accustomed to October releases from the guys. Driveways then graced us with "Surgery" just a few weeks later. And now, a full EP this week! It's like Christmas in November. I, for one, remain on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what Driveways will bring next.
And now, without further ado, I bring you Music Scene Media's exclusive interview with your new obsession, Driveways (you're welcome, dear readers.)
