We are pleased to introduce Music Scene Media is launching a Stationhead channel! With broadcasts every weekend and bi-weekly radio themes, our Stationhead channel will have you up and grooving! Kicking off, the first theme will be 'Festival.' Keep an eye on our socials for when we broadcast!
Festival season is in full swing! With Coachella 2025 having just come to a close, it got me wondering, if Music Scene Media were to put together a festival, who would we pick as some of our musical acts? Take a deep dive with us as we explore who we would choose to perform at a festival of our own!
If you were to pick two artists to headline a festival, who would they be?
Beau Lewis - My Chemical Romance & Fleetwood Mac
Abby Crabill - Benson Boone & The Jonas Brothers
Kevin Young - Sleep Token & Holding Absence
Cole Kubizne - Radiohead and Sonic Youth
Mell Breaker - Sleep Token & Jennie (from Blackpink)
Matt Benton - The Acacia Strain, The Beach Boys
Melanie Mae Williamson - mgk & blackbear
Andrew MacLean - Lady Gaga & Melanie Martinez
Out of the two artists, pick one artist and give a description of what you think is their most memorable performance and why!
Beau Lewis - My Chemical Romance live in Mexico City with "The Black Parade is Dead!" Tour. It was their "last" time playing in the Black Parade alter egos. The performances are so memorable and just heartbreaking. This performance, specifically of "Disenchanted" is what sticks out to me the most. Since Gerard wrote the song after his brother Mikey said he was leaving the band during the writing of Black Parade.
Abby Crabill - Benson Boone's performance of "Beautiful Things" at Coachella was his most memorable performance. He had Brian May, of Queen, join him to perform it on stage.
Kevin Young - Sleep Token's sold-out performance in Wembley Arena: Vessel lost his voice early on, and the crowd sang a couple of songs for him. Their voices combined as one and created a visibly moving experience.
Cole Kubizne - Radiohead’s Bonnaroo 2006 setlist was just incredible.
Mell Breaker - The O2 Arena performance from Sleep Token in 2024 was incredible from the clips I've seen. Great production and musicianship, overall a wonderful show.
Matt Benton - The Acacia Strain was performing at the Grasspop Festival 2024 and someone crowd surfed a kebab to the vocalist Vincent during a breakdown of the song.

Melanie Mae Williamson - mgk! It would definitely be his hometown show in Cleveland in 2022 at the Browns Stadium for the ‘Mainstream Sellout’ tour. He went ALL OUT on this one! He not only had his signature pink helicopter from the tour, but at one point he went out to the stadium seats and literally zip lined back down to the stage. You can watch the entire performance on YouTube, and it’s a must-see for any mgk fan!
Andrew MacLean - Lady Gaga’s original best performance was either her 2009 VMA performance of Paparazzi, or her one of my personal favourites, her 2013 Wizard of Oz themed performance of Applause. Coachella 2025 topped this with her lavish use of stage visuals, a detailed and intricate storyline, as well as constructing an opera house in the desert. The opening act of the show alone would leave your jaw on the floor!
