SENSES released their new EP, I'm Still Breathing, in the middle of March, which kickstarted their first headliner tour around the US. A month later, they're back in their hometown to finish off the run on a high note.

The night kicked off strong with Sacramento native Mvssie, a charismatic singer whose powerful voice grabbed everyone's attention from the start. Her confidence and captivating energy made it easy to connect with the crowd as she moved through the pit, delivering songs that touched on heartbreak, betrayal, and resilience.

Negative 25, a duo that “makes pop music for the emo kids”, came next with their song “Are We Having Fun Yet?” and definitely made sure that the audience was having fun. The mix of hip hop, pop punk and their vibrant personalities created an infectious atmosphere that kept the crowd moving during the entire set.

An up and coming pop-punk band from Los Angeles, SENSES went viral for their emo version of the hit Chappell Roan song “Good Luck, Babe”. Fans were comparing the lead singer Madison with Avril Lavigne and Hayley Williams from Paramore, but truly she’s in a league of her own. The passion and expressiveness of her vocals are contagious and the explosive energy of her stage presence demands for all eyes to be on her.

The group brought all of their most popular songs, including “Diamonds On Your Dagger”, “ Sleepwalking”, and “Every Little Thing”. Their lyrics focus on empowerment, getting over hardships and  proving wrong the people who doubt you, messages that certainly resonate with the fans, as nearly everyone was singing along.

The band’s chemistry was undeniable, with small playful interactions between members throughout the set, it was great to witness them simply having fun while performing.

All three bands have noted how TikTok has played a significant role in their careers, from meeting and supporting each other, to reaching new audiences and building the momentum that landed them on this stage. Negative 25 shared that they still have a day job, giving an insight into how difficult it is to sustain being a band, but also for how deeply the dedication to music runs.

The show was an impressive finale to the “I'm Still Breathing” tour and a strong reminder of the importance of supporting smaller bands, and that showing up early for opening acts and streaming their music can make all the difference!
