Sueco concluded his 'Attempted Lover' tour, named after his latest album, this past weekend at The Underground in Charlotte, NC. The platinum-certified emo-rap/hyper-pop/pop-punk singer, songwriter, and producer is known for his genre-bending sound. What truly makes him unique is his alternative/pop-punk sound infused with his rap-style delivery of lyrics. His career kick-started when his debut single "fast" blew up on TikTok in 2019. Since then, he's collaborated with a slew of major artists, such as Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Yachty, Papa Roach, and Trippie Redd. His latest album, Attempted Lover, is his first independently released album, and has only further propelled his global fame. The deluxe edition was released last week, adding five new tracks.
Sueco took the stage, diving right into his first song of the night, "Bathroom Floor." The crowd was instantly enchanted as if under a spell as he commanded the crowd with ease. His effortless raps flowed over pop-punk melodies as he kept up the pace with a career-spanning setlist, including fan-favorites "fast" and "Paralyzed." The crowd was eating it up and sang along with every word.
Known for his dynamic live performances, the rest of the night included him surfing on a literal surfboard during the show, held up by hordes of fans all eager to assist. Sueco was on fire, clearly riding the high of closing out this tour with a bang.
While this tour may have concluded, you can stream the deluxe edition of Attempted Lover until the next one! There's no show quite like a Sueco show, and it'll no doubt be worth the wait!
