Over a decade ago, the emo and scene world was taken by storm when The Bunny The Bear released their masterpiece “The Aisle”. The track had anything and everything a kid could want in a song; catchy lyrics accompanied by aggressive guttural vocals and angelic singing, synth-vibes that make you want to dance, and over 4 minutes of chugs and riffs. I still remember when I first came across the song back in high school and my world was forever changed. I never knew I needed a song quite like this before, but I knew for sure that I needed it forevermore from that day forward. To commemorate the occasion, The Bunny The Bear has dropped a chilling redux of the song with an accompanying music video. A music video that in fact has been out for just over 12 hours and has already amassed thousands of views.

The redux effortlessly combines an atmospheric background tone while keeping those aggressive gutturals that everyone expects to hear from The Bunny The Bear. The contrast in the tone of the vocals, while dancing across the riffs just leaves your ears craving more. I don’t know if I’d call it a drum breakdown, but the redux track still has that “dancy” drum fill that I so deeply loved from the first time listening and it has aged just like a fine wine.

When speaking about the release, Matthew Tybor states:

We’re excited to bring the world our reimagining of our classic song "Aisle." We believe Aisle (Redux) perfectly blurs the lines between past and present, old and new. Blending our classic sound with that of The Bunny The Bear’s new era. We hope it will be the perfect bonding place for old and new fans alike. The perfect mixture of nostalgia and fresh air."

If you want a chance to hear this new masterpiece live, you’re in luck as the band is set to head out on a string of shows to end the month of March. Get tickets while you still can!
