Your new favorite band is here and has a brand new EP for you to break your neck to. Hailing from Lillington, NC, Thus Spoke is here to take the metal scene by storm. With their extreme vocals, hardcore riffs, and bone-shaking blast beats, this band has something that makes them exactly what you need to scratch that musical itch.

Thus Spoke's debut EP, RECLAMATION, is pure metal goodness. Right away, the opening track, "Wake Up", makes you want to headbang the day away until you're forced to go to the ER in a neck brace. I could easily see this being the type of song that when played in a live setting, the crowd will go insane and mosh as hard as they ever have. "The Lies We Follow" is just as heavy! That opening riff is just the thing to get that heartbeat rising and brighten your mood. As the lyrics dance from your headphones to your ears, you can't help but enjoy all 5 minutes of the song. Plus that breakdown around the mid-point of the song? Absolutely amazing. I'd argue that "L'Appel Du Vide" is the heaviest track on the EP as it solidifies that metal is more than just a genre for the Thus Spoke. This is something that the entire band is passionate about and won't stop at until they conquer the world. A truly beautiful track that I don't think I can find the right words to describe.

That opening scream of "We Can't Lose Hope" shook me to my core. Quite possibly my favorite track on the EP. It reminds me of that old-school Killswitch Engage sound with a hint of freshness. It brings the heavy, brings the emotions, and brings a smile to my face as I listen and have my own mosh pit in the kitchen. Speaking of favorites, "The Final Goodbye" is sure to be a fan favorite. If this track doesn't immediately make fans start a circle pit while screaming these lyrics back louder than the PA system, there has to be a problem. This track is nothing short of anthem-like. Closing the EP is "My Salvation". And what a way to close an EP. From the vocals to the blast beats, to the riffs, to everything in between, "My Salvation" needs to be played everywhere.
