Metalcore has gotten to be a pretty saturated industry these days. So, what does it take to truly stand out? Well, Until I Wake think they may have what it takes with the addition of their new vocalist, Jaali Smith, and their revamped sound. Their new releases are even catchier than ever! The band had this to say about the title track from the forthcoming album, Renovate:
The title track is a transition from darkness to light. It's about finally seeing the chance to achieve the peace of mind and happiness life has to offer beyond all of the pain — a chance to rebuild and reshape the person we want to become and leave all of the past behind us. 'Renovate' is a transformation of sight for oneself, a different light; more positivity and self love. Leaving behind the person you were for the version you want to become. Letting go of the fear, doubts, self hate and reshaping a perspective surrounded by courage, self love and mental/spiritual growth.
